About Operation Freedom Ride
Operation Freedom Ride is a dog and cat adoption organization that is entirely foster based. We rescue animals locally and also make trips to the south to transport them to NY from southern shelters to find homes. We rely entirely on donations to run and entirely on fosters to help us save animals.
Our Mission & Story
Operation Freedom Ride is dedicated to saving the lives of dogs and cats by rescuing them from high-kill shelters and placing them in loving foster homes until they are adopted. Our organization was founded on the belief that every animal deserves a second chance at life, regardless of their age, breed, or medical condition. We strive to make a difference in the lives of these animals and the families who adopt them.

Our Partnerships
Operation Freedom Ride collaborates with a network of animal shelters, veterinary clinics, and pet supply stores to support our mission. These partnerships enable us to provide essential care, medical treatment, and supplies to the animals in our care. Additionally, we work closely with transport partners to facilitate the safe transfer of animals from overcrowded shelters to our foster network, ultimately increasing their chances of finding forever homes.
